Who Is This Guy?
Adam Jones is a San Diego-based singer/songwriter whose music has been assaulting the senses of live audiences since 2009. With a style best described as the sonic love child of Johnny Cash, Social Distortion and the Pogues, Adam combines poetic storytelling, gritty vocals and a tasty dash of harmonica playing to deliver powerful, evocative performances. His shows have spanned diverse venues, from bars and concert halls to prisons and charity galas.
Adam’s latest EP, “Now and Then” (2024), presents raw selections from two decades of his musical marathon, featuring songs that critique, celebrate and explore the human condition. Offstage, Adam is an avid “disciple of all things sonic,” producing records, voiceovers and movie scores from his self-built home studio. He also holds a pending patent for a unique sound treatment panel and founded Siren Collaborative, which designs custom acoustic signage and decor. Adam’s work embodies resilience and creativity, making him a vital voice in San Diego’s music scene.
